Vision
Vision Statement:
The California Cannabis Association represents medical cannabis advocates, organizations, collective-dispensaries, physicians, patient-growers and individual members. CCA supports common-sense regulations to ensure safe, affordable access to medical cannabis for qualified patients statewide.
CCA’s Goals:
Our goal is to develop and advance a regulatory framework that provides standards and transparency across California's fast-growing medical cannabis industry. CCA will focus on best practices to meet patient needs through education, training and advocacy groups. CCA also will develop programs to expand the knowledge and awareness of medical cannabis, and cannabis operations, among policy makers, the media, and the general public.
The California Cannabis Association will work to build consensus among our diverse membership, providing a united voice as we work with the Legislature to ensure that medical cannabis patients, growers and workers are protected. The CCA will also work with the National Cannabis Industry Association (http://www.thecannabisindustry.org) to lobby the Federal Government to respect intra-state medical marijuana laws, and not apply the CSA (controlled substances act) to well regulated state medical Cannabis sytems.
CCA Structure:
The California Cannabis Association consists of medical cannabis advocates, businesses, organizations and individuals committed to the development of statewide medical cannabis regulations. Based in Sacramento, CCA is an independent, nonprofit trade organization dedicated to protecting, enhancing and advocating for California’s medical cannabis industry.
