About Us

California Cannabis Association (CCA) is a non-profit organization who seeks to attract members within the medical cannabis industry to unite into a dynamic organization with the power and expertise to confront and obtain solutions to a multitude of growth-related issues.

CCA was developed by people who represent the cannabis industry in the legal world, the collective world and the business world who are discouraged with the grey areas of medical cannabis and are ready for more protections for operators and for consumers.  Through developing a trade association, the medical cannabis community will be able to speak as one united and organized group.

The CCA offers a program of benefits, services, advocacy, and education available only to its members. These benefits also allow a neutral ground for cannabis experts and consumers to come together and network to develop the future of medical cannabis.  Standards of excellence, professional camaraderie and a prominent voice in the political arena are just the beginning of what CCA will be able to provide their membership. Only through a combined effort of cannabis-related professionals can our Association continue to exert an influence within the local legislative forums and maintain our goals of affordable and quality medicine.

Each member will help develop and have access to professionals with best practices related to techniques of handling cannabis, standard operating procedures (SOP’s) to ensure quality controls are consistently met and an understanding of how to track cannabis from seed to sale. Improved patient services are essential for every operation and more identifiable safety protocols will result from the testing, standardization, cross-education and implementation industry wide.

The focus of our Association is to come up with a higher standard. As an emerging industry, it is imperative that we create regulations that fit the goals of our members. We will be a united voice, working with the Legislature, to ensure the future of medical cannabis is protected.
